Our Principles.
Alabama PAC stands for the Progressive American Collaborative — a movement rooted in Alabama, oriented toward the whole country. These are the values that guide our work.
Pluralism over Purity
Progress is a broad tent. Working people, students, faith communities, rural neighbors, urban organizers, new Americans, and lifelong Alabamians all belong here. We disagree well and we build together.
Civic Engagement is a Habit
Democracy is not a spectator sport. We show up for school boards, city councils, primaries, and general elections — not just for presidential years. Voting is the floor, not the ceiling.
Honest Data, Honest Stories
We source our numbers from the Alabama Secretary of State, the U.S. Census, and peer-reviewed research. We show the wins, the losses, and the long arc — no spin, no cherry-picking.
Community Before Campaigns
Campaigns come and go. Community stays. We invest in the relationships, conversations, and local infrastructure that outlast any single election cycle.
Alabama is the Story
The national narrative writes Alabama off. We don't. This state has a rich progressive history and a rising progressive future — the Black Belt, the Urban Crescent, the Tennessee Valley, the Gulf Coast. It's all Alabama.
Transparency by Default
We say who we are, who runs us, and what we spend on. When we're wrong, we correct it. When we don't know, we say so.
Who We Are
Alabama PAC is an independent progressive advocacy project — not affiliated with any candidate, party committee, corporation, or union. We are funded by people who believe Alabama and America deserve better storytelling, better data, and a stronger civic community.
